Gautam buddha moral story :Big killer or savior
big killer or savior
The childhood name of Lord Buddha was Siddhartha. One day he was walking in the garden when suddenly a swan fell on the ground while flying. Siddhartha saw that the swan was pierced with an arrow. Siddhartha could not see the sorrow of the swan who was suffering. He picked up the swan and took out an arrow.
Meanwhile, his cousin Devdutt came and said, "Brother, this prey is mine, give it to me."
"Siddharth said brother, I will not give it."
Devadatta complained to Siddhartha's father Shuddhodana and said, "I have a right on this swan." I shot it down with an arrow.
Siddhartha said to his father, “You decide what right did he have to shoot an arrow at an innocent swan in flight? Why hurt it?
I could not see the suffering of this sad creature, so I took out the arrow and treated it and saved its life.
King Suddhodana, after listening to both of them, gave a verdict and said, "Siddhartha has the right over the swan, because the savior is greater than the one who kills."
